ਸਰਦਾਰ ਰਘੁਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਤੇ ਸਰਦਾਰਨੀ ਵੀਰ ਕੌਰ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਤਿੰਨ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਪੁੱਤਰੀ ਜਿੰਨਾ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਵਿਚਕਾਰਲੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਮੋਹਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਤੇ ਸਰਦਾਰਨੀ ਮਨਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਪਿੰਡ ਖੰਡਸਾਲ (ਸਿੰਘਾਂ ਦੀ ਖੰਡਸਾਲ) ਜਿਲਾ ਅਮਰੋਹਾ ਯੂਪੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਈ ਜੋਗਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ 3 ਜੁਲਾਈ 1979 ਨੂੰ ਹੋਇਆ। ਪੰਜ ਭੈਣ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੂਜੇ ਨੰਬਰ ਤੇ ਭਾਈ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਹਨ। ਦੁਨਿਆਵੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਭਾਈ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਲਈ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਭੇਜਣ ਦਾ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਅਨੰਦਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਚਲੇ ਗਏ। ਕੇਸਗੜ੍ਹ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਪਾਨ ਕਰਕੇ ਗੁਰਮਤ ਦੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਤੇ ਮੁੜ ਵਾਪਸ ਆ ਕੇ ਸੇਵਾ ਆਰੰਭ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ । ਗੁਰਮਤ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਨਾਲ ਭਾਈ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਕਾਰਜਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਲੋੜਵੰਦਾਂ ਦਾ ਇਲਾਜ ਦਵਾਈ ਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਜਰੂਰ ਵਸਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਗੱਲ ਖੁਦ ਭਾਈ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਨੇ 25 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਵਾਰੀ ਖੂਨ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਵੀ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਵੀ ਜਾਰੀ ਹਨ । ਗੁਰਮਤ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਲਈ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਤਕਰੀਬਨ ਸਾਰੇ ਹੀ ਸੂਬਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ । ਇਸ ਵਕਤ ਭਾਈ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਹੈਡ ਗ੍ਰੰਥੀ ਵਜੋਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਸਿੱਖ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੇਵਾ ਨਿਭਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
सरदार रघुबीर सिंह जी और सरदारनी वीर कौर जी के घर तीन पुत्रों और एक पुत्री में से, मध्य पुत्र सरदार मोहन सिंह जी और सरदारनी मनींदर कौर जी के घर भाई जोगिंदर सिंह जी का जन्म 3 जुलाई 1979 को उत्तर प्रदेश के जनपद अमरोहा स्थित गाँव खंडसाल (सिंघों की खंडसाल) में हुआ।
भाई साहिब जी पाँच भाई-बहनों में दूसरे नंबर पर हैं। सांसारिक शिक्षा के साथ-साथ परिवार ने उन्हें गुरमत शिक्षा हेतु पंजाब भेजने का निर्णय लिया। उन्होंने आनंदपुर साहिब स्थित केसगढ़ साहिब में अमृत पान किया और वहीं से गुरमत की विद्वत शिक्षा प्राप्त की।
घर लौटने के पश्चात भाई साहिब जी ने सेवा और गुरमत प्रचार का संकल्प लिया। वे केवल आध्यात्मिक सेवा ही नहीं, बल्कि सामाजिक क्षेत्र में भी अत्यंत सक्रिय हैं। वे ज़रूरतमंदों को पढ़ाई, इलाज, दवाइयां और आवश्यक वस्तुओं की सहायता करते रहते हैं। विशेष रूप से, भाई साहिब जी अब तक 25 से अधिक बार रक्तदान कर चुके हैं और यह सेवा निरंतर जारी है।
गुरमत प्रचार हेतु वे भारत के लगभग सभी राज्यों का भ्रमण कर चुके हैं। वर्तमान में भाई जोगिंदर सिंह जी दिल्ली सिख गुरुद्वारा प्रबंधक कमेटी में हेड ग्रंथि के रूप में सेवा निभा रहे हैं, और गुरु घर में समर्पण, विनम्रता और निष्काम भाव से सेवा कर रहे हैं।
Bhai Joginder Singh Ji was born on July 3, 1979, in the village of Khandsaal (Singhs’ Khandsaal), District Amroha, Uttar Pradesh, to Sardar Mohan Singh Ji and Sardarni Maninder Kaur Ji — the middle son among the three sons and one daughter of Sardar Raghubir Singh Ji and Sardarni Veer Kaur Ji.
He is the second among five siblings. Alongside worldly education, his family decided to send him to Punjab for Gurmat (Sikh spiritual) education. He received Amrit (Sikh initiation) at Keshgarh Sahib in Anandpur Sahib and underwent deep Gurmat training.
Upon returning, Bhai Sahib dedicated himself to sewa (selfless service) and Gurmat preaching. In addition to spiritual service, he has been deeply involved in social work — helping the needy with education, medical treatment, medicines, and other essential needs. Notably, he has donated blood more than 25 times, continuing this noble service even today.
Bhai Sahib has travelled across almost every state in India to spread the message of Gurmat. Presently, he serves as the Head Granthi with the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC), humbly and devotedly performing his duties in service of the Guru’s house.
